NEW DATE FROM JAN 9th DUE TO WEATHER
Scout Shooting Sports Day
Presented by
Bayou Rifles and the SHAC Shooting Sports Committee
When:Saturday, January 9, 2010 CHANGED TO JAN 30TH Sign in and safety sessions start at 8:AM. Additional SAFETY SESSIONS on EVEN HOURS for arrivals after 8 AM. Shooting starts at 9:AM, last shooters to the line at 3:PM
Where :Bayou Rifles? Addicks Range on Eldridge just north of the Addicks Dam on Eldridge, turn east at the first (dirt) road.
Who:Limited to the first 100 registrants of each of the following :
Cub ScoutsArchery and BB gun(Must be accompanied by a parent and have parent?s signed permission and liability release form)
Boy ScoutsArchery, rimfire Rifle and Muzzleloaders (Must have parent?s signed permission and liability release form)
VenturersArchery, rimfire Rifle, Pistols, and Muzzleloaders (Must have parent?s signed permission and liability release form)
What:ArcheryAppropriate ranges and equipment furnished for each Scout Group
BB GunGuns, silhouette targets, and eye protection provided
Rimfire RifleGuns, ammunition, silhouette targets, paper targets, ear, and eye protection provided
MuzzleloadersGuns, Powder, Shot, silhouette targets, paper targets, ear, and eye protection provided. (.50 Cal)
PistolGuns, ammunition, silhouette targets, paper targets, ear, and eye protection provided (.22, 9mm, 38 Special, .357 Magnum, 40 S&W, .44 Mag, 45 ACP and maybe others)
Cost:$10 per shooter for base quantity, additional shots if available at additional cost.

Cub Scout belt loops, Boy Scout Merit Badges, and Venturing Shooting programs will be facilitated. However it is impossible for merit badges or venturing awards to be completed during one day.
Please bring water and food as none will be available on site. Hygiene stations for hand cleaning on site.
Rules:
Always keep guns pointed in a safe direction.
Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire.
Always keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.
Follow the Scout Law
No guns or ammunition brought on or off property without prior written permission of Paul Tyllick.
Attend onsite safety class prior to shooting
Keep the range neat, we want to be invited back!
