Red Cross First Aid, WARFA, and canoeing events taught by Scouts

We have room in our September 22/23 Wilderness and Remote First Aid program and our September 28-30 Deer Lake Canoe Clinic. Both programs will be held at The Grand Lake Dining Hall, BSA Camp Strake North of Houston, near Conroe, TX. The programs are hosted by The NBO Scout Training Team and BSA Crew-911. Leave No Trace Trainer Course

The 16-hour Leave No Trace Trainer's Course will be offered at Kuester Lodge, Camp Strake, October 5-7, 2012.  This is the course required for youth (14+) wishing to fill the position of LNT Trainer within their unit. The course starts at 6:30 Friday evening and ends before noon on Sunday.  Please register with Melanie Harrison on the SHAC website.  All meals and course materials are included in the registration fee.

It is official; the 2013 Mustang District Camporee date is set for 22-24 March 2013 at Camp Strake.
